29 December 2020JOB OPENING – Judo Saskatchewan High Performance Coach
Effective Date: October 1, 2018
Overall Responsibility: While reporting to the President of Judo Saskatchewan this position will provide coaching expertise and leadership to our athletes, coaches, club instructors and grassroots participants to enhance the level of judo in Saskatchewan and ensure positive performance results at Canada Games, National Championships, Domestic & International competitions..
Requirements: Must be certified as a Competition Development Coach (NCCP level III) and have experience in coaching at the High Performance Level. Must have the knowledge and ability to initiate, plan, implement and evaluate programs and services designed to increase the level of coaching and athlete performance at all levels.
This position will work at a location mutually agreed to with the Executive of Judo Saskatchewan and will be expected to attend all Provincial judo tournaments and make yearly visits to each club in the Province.
The position requires that the incumbent receive a clear criminal record check for service with the vulnerable sector.
Salary & Benefits: Starting salary is negotiable based on experience, with annual increases provided, plus cost of living increases as determined by Sask Sport. A full benefits package will be provided as per all Sask Sport employees. Professional development opportunities with funding will be provided annually.
