PAN-AM Championships 2020 (Montreal)

ATHLETES

  • medalist at the 2019 Canadian Championships
    · Have participated in the 2019 World Championship
    · medalist at the Eastern / Western Canada Championship – 2019-2020 season

In a case of equality, a review of the scores earned and the team making the least errors will be selected.

JUDGES:

  • See the number of Judges by Pan-Am.
  • Take the judges in order of IJF and PJC

o Based on their participation in the Canadian Championship.
o Eastern and Western Canada Championship.

In the case of a tie, the judge with the most participation and seniority will be selected.

NOTE: at the 2020 PanAm Championships the PJC will have an exam for those who want to become a Panamerican judge.

Those who meet the following criteria may be considered for the PJC exam:

o SANDAN degree in Judo
o National “A” in all kata

  • Participation in the Eastern and Western Canada Championship – 2019-2020 season
    o Participation in the 2019 Canadian Championship

 

 

Selection to the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2020

ATHLETES:

  • World Championship (Finalist) 500 pts
  • World Championship (participant) 100 pts

 

  • 2020 Eastern Canada Championship (St-Jean)

o 1st place 100 pts

o 2nd place 50 pts

o 3rd place 25 pts

  • 2020 Western Canada Championship (Alta)

o 1st place 100 pts
o 2nd place 50 pts
o 3rd place 25 pts

  • Pan American Championship 2020 (Montreal)

o 1st place 300 pts
o 2nd place 200 pts
o 3rd place 100 pts
