Training Camp

The NextGen Academy training camp.  A great opportunity for young athletes aged 13 to 16 to live an unforgettable experience with high level coaches.
Judo Canada is proud to announce a NextGen Academy winter training camp.  A great opportunity for young athletes born between 2007 and 2013 to enjoy an unforgettable experience with top-level coaches.
You will find below, the necessary information about the camp.
Admission criteria:
– Age requirement: 2007 to 2013
– Green belt or higher
– Athlete must have competed at provincial level or equivalent
– Canadian participants must be members in good standing of Judo Canada.
January 3-5, 2025
9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – Judo training
11h00-13h00 – break
13h00- 15h00 – Judo training
Training location: Centre Ippon

Cost: free of charge
For athletes living outside the Greater Montreal area, you are responsible for the logistics of your accommodation. You can contact Mr. Semyrozum at the Centre Ippon to discuss for possible option (room at the complex or hotel discount): sportcentreippon@gmail.com
During lunch breaks, athletes are responsible for their own meals. There is a dining area at the Ippon Center. It is possible to use the microwave or buy food on site.  If athletes wish to go outside the Centre, Judo Canada is not responsible for supervision.
