If you don’t have any, here are three options:
1) Medical insurance only: approx. $40
2) Insurance for a complete trip (medical, interruption, cancellation in case of injury or illness): approx. $150
3) Annual insurance (valid for one year for travel of up to 30 days at a time) complete (medical, interruption, cancellation in case of injury or illness): approx. $380

To be eligible, athletes must be members in good standing of Judo Canada and have no debt owing to Judo Canada or their Provincial association. Applications need to be approved by the applicants’ provincial association.
Selection:
Policy 15 provides selection criteria for specific major events. For tournaments with limited entries without specific selection policies, the criteria that will be taken into consideration, to select participants are:
• Funding priority criteria
• Participation and performance at training camps and testing
• Daily training commitment at National Training Center
• Number of international events already attended
With the objective to offer logical periodization in preparation and selection for major events.
