As of October 1st, 2020 all Chartered  Professional Coaches (ChPC) and Registered Coaches must complete the CAC Safe Sport on line module available at: https://safesport.coach.ca/   or directly in your LOCKER profile. The status of Coaches who do not complete this training  by that date will change to “non renewed”.  Just for clarification – “Registered Coaches are those who are not meeting the minimum eligibility standards for the CHPC status, but still request recognition from the Professional Coaches Association.  Further clarification –  the Respect in Sport on line course is not considered equivalent with the CAC’s module.  In case you need more information on the status of CHPC and Registered Coach see: https://coach.ca/build-coaching-pathway/chartered-professional-coach

CAC cancelled all in person functions until the end of the 2020.

The Sport Leadership Convention 2020 scheduled for November 4 -6 is going to be delivered ON-LINE.  Registration for this event or it’s parts is open until the end of August and it is FREE.  Interested coaches will find the registration info at: https://coach.ca/petro-canada-sport-leadership-sportif-conferenceCommunity Coach Developer Award applications are still accepted. I recommend to nominate Bruce Fingarson – BC per capita  is the most active P’T in the judo community. This application must be filed by Judo BC.
