Dear Coach, Parents, Athletes,

Judo Canada’s NextGen Academy is proud to announce a Discovery Training at the National Centre. This training will bring together children in the U12 and U14 age groups and will be led by one of the national coaches.

Guest of honour will be Misato Nakamura, triple world champion and double Olympic medallist.  A great opportunity to give young athletes an unforgettable experience.

You will find below, the necessary information concerning the camp.

Admission criteria:

– Eligible birth years: 2017 to 2013

U12 – Yellow belt and above / U14 – Yellow and orange belts

– Athlete must have competed at the provincial level or equivalent

– All Canadian athletes must be members in good standing of Judo Canada

Parents and coaches are authorized to attend training sessions, provided that the following rules are respected:

• Filming or taking photos during matches is strictly prohibited.

• Moving around inside the dojo is not permitted; spectators must remain seated in the bleachers.

• Coaching from the bleachers is not allowed; only certified coaches wearing a judogi are authorized to intervene.

• Circulating within the INS complex is not permitted, except to go directly to the dojo. Registration is mandatory via the following link. Registration
