Self-Defence Certification
Judo Canada is proud to announce new dates for the Judo Canada Women’s Self-Defense Instructor Course.
This course is open to both men and women.
Judo Canada’s goal is to train instructors so that this new program can be offered across Canada: in judo clubs, in schools, in women’s centers, etc.
Here is the course information.
The program will take place in two parts:
Friday evening – Theoretical (those who have already taken the online training, do not need to take the theoretical part)
Saturday & Sunday – Practical.
*Registration will be open until the number of places is full.
Courses fees are: 75 $
Training schedule:
Friday- June 21, 2024
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Training – Theoretical
Saturday- June 22, 2024
9 h 15 – 12 h 30 – Practical training 1 & 2 & 3
12 h 30 – 13 h 30 – Lunch
1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Practical training 4 & 5 & 6
Sunday- June 23, 2024
9 h 30 – 12 h 30 – Training 7 & 8 & 10
12 h 30 – 13 h 30 – Lunch
1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Review, practice and evaluation / Presentation: diploma & gift
Each participant who completes the course will receive :
A t-shirt
A subscription to access the technique videos
A diploma
A theory notebook

Minimum requirements:
• be a member of Judo Canada
• brown belt or higher
• be 16 years of age or older
