Montreal, May 15, 2015 (Sportcom) – Ontario judoka Tony Walby competed in the quarterfinals in the Under 90kg class at the International Blind Sports Association (IBSA) World Games in Seoul, South Korea.

After benefiting from an exemption out of the first round, Walby scored two waza-aris and beat Japan’s Aramitsu Kitazono by ippon.

Unfortunately, Zviad Gogotchuri, from Georgia, swiftly surprised the Ottawa native with an ippon in the quarterfinals.

Gogotchuri made it all the way to the final match to beat British Samuel Ingram. The bronze medals went to Uzbekistan’s Shukhrat Boboev and Ukraine’s Oleksandr Nazarenko.
