Judo Canada is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with Premium Group, reaffirming a shared commitment to supporting the development of young judokas as they transition from the junior to senior level.

The renewed agreement, confirmed during the 2026 Open Nationals in Calgary, reflects the strength of the relationship between Judo Canada and Premium Group, as well as a mutual desire to continue growing the partnership and expanding its impact in the years ahead.

“We are extremely pleased to continue our partnership with Premium Group and its owner, Denis Collin. Denis has been deeply involved in the judo community for many years, and his continued support represents much more than a financial contribution. It is a meaningful investment in the future of our athletes and in the development of judo across Canada,” said Nicolas Gill, CEO of Judo Canada.

Through this renewed commitment, Premium Group will continue to provide financial support dedicated to young athletes making the important transition to the senior level. These funds will go directly to the athletes, helping reduce barriers and providing meaningful support at a critical stage in their development.

Founded in 2015 by Collin, Premium Group is based in Eastern Canada, more specifically in Moncton. The company is active in various construction sectors and continues to grow thanks to the work and dedication of its team.

For Collin, the connection between Premium Group and judo is deeply personal. A former national-level judoka, he has remained actively involved in the sport and currently co-owns two clubs in New Brunswick, where nearly 250 members train each week.

“Judo has had a major impact on my life, both personally and professionally. Our company slogan, ‘Built with Heart,’ was inspired in many ways by the values I learned through judo — perseverance, tenacity, respect, and commitment,” said Collin.

Having benefited from the sport throughout his own journey, Collin remains motivated by the opportunity to give back and help young athletes across the country pursue their full potential.

“I have always wanted to contribute to judo beyond my own province. Supporting athletes at this stage of their development is something that matters deeply to me. Many judokas need additional support as they move from the junior to senior ranks, and we want to help give them the best possible chance to succeed,” he added.

Judo Canada is especially proud to continue building this relationship with Premium Group and looks forward to further developing the partnership, increasing its visibility, and strengthening its impact within the Canadian judo community.

“This renewed commitment is an important step, but it is also a foundation for continued growth,” added Gill. “We are grateful for Premium Group’s trust and support, and we look forward to working together to create even more opportunities for athletes across Canada.”

With this continued support, Premium Group remains an important national partner in helping young Canadian judokas pursue excellence — from the tatami at home to the highest levels of international competition.
